The hotel itself is great, with modern rooms and comfy beds. Decent bar downstairs and a rooftop bar as well, when the weather allows. Staff were friendly, and the room was exceptionally well-priced.

Room was clean and had a new feel about it. Great smell of smoked wood in the bar area from the restaurant. The restaurant is a smoked meat theme and I ate there twice as it was so nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely warm and relaxed vibe.

Modern hotel with good in-room facilities and restaurant on premises. I liked the room design, and the lighting especially was excellent. Location was OK... the restaurant seems good; although I was trying to eat local dishes during my stay - and the restaurant is American BBQ. It's a great base to see Frankfurt. I thought the room rate was good value, and Uber taxis to most places around the centre were just 10€. There's also a tram stop a minute away.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here. There are a few things to note which might help you decide your stay. The place is eclectic for sure, really nice furnishing and is modern, TV, WIFI, coffee machine all very good. It was a great addition to have a marshall bluetooth speaker/radio in the room so we could get ready with some music. Bed was comfy and the hotel is nicely located, we were far enough away from downtown to avoid any issues or additional noise. We walked or took scooters around. We visited the christmas markets and surrounding areas. The chicago williams restaurant which serves in the same space was great, food was very tasty and the mac n cheese was huge!! Our waiter was an excellent bloke, very attentive and we shared some whisky with him! Unfortunately, we had not managed to get cash out yet for tips so hopefully the whisky was enjoyed! If you're looking for something to compete in terms of their luxury such as the W hotel, you will be disappointed. We recommend this place for sure, we managed to get at a very good value per night too.

We had a really nice time at the hotel, everything was clean and it was not noisy during the night. The location was good too as we walked through the city. And just 10 min walk from Frankfurt main station. The bed and the pillows were really comfortable. We would definitely come back. The staff was very friendly.

this hotel is a lot of fun. It’s not one of those nameless generic places but has its own character and a good vibe. It has a fun design. We liked the Grown Alchemist bathroom amenities. Breakfast was exceptional, to the point where I would close my eyes to the location issue for the sake of this breakfast. I thought that breakfast was way above the average and the staff was always pleasant and nice. We even got some nice espressos free of charge from the good coffee machine at the bar. We also found it funny there’s vodka and tequila served for breakfast: I’ve definitely not seen anything like that before haha. Too bad the weather was awful during our stay because there was a terrace upstairs and that place must be fun when it’s warm outside. At night the breakfast area is actually a restaurant serving some good cocktails and meat dishes (no vegan options spotted but we didn’t care for that).

Gekko House is about a five minute walk from the main station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof). Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a modern, stylishly decorated en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was superb and served in a characterful dining area. Wide choice of food which would cover most people’s taste and the muesli was one of the best I have ever tasted! We also enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel and I can thoroughly recommend the watermelon and feta salad.

staff, location and room are amazing, special thanks for yassine the Moroccan receptionist for his warm welcoming and his great service because of him our stay became much better with his recommendations in the city and how was helpful, yassine is one of the people that will make go back again to Gekko house which was the best decision to book in that hotel and as well the Tunisian receptionist in the evening shift I forgot his name he was very helpful and great person with his service we asked for Ice and he provided we asked for glasses he provided I can’t say anything more than thank you so much guys and definitely we will back again to Gekko house

The hotel is in a nice location a few minutes walk from the Skyline Plaza, which was convenient for shopping and also a good safe place to park the car. The hotel itself is above a restaurant and there is a small check in area, which was quick and efficient. The room was a smartly decorated and comfortable, the bathroom was nice and had a great shower. We had an issue with one of the neighbors playing loud music at 10.30PM (so loud that the wall was vibrating!) A quick call to reception and the staff immediately came to resolve, which was great. You could walk to town without issue but also we could take an Uber approx. 10 Euros to the center. I would stay here again.

Really comfortable, modern room. The restaurant downstairs did some great BBQ food. Very close to a tram stop which could take you to most tourist areas in under 15 minutes
